Brussels pitfall to avoid

BRUC, neighbour appeals and polluted soils.

Three combined risks: the BRUC imposes strict constraints (heights, alignments, parking); neighbour appeals can freeze a site for 18-24 months; polluted soils (BRUDALEX) are common on regenerated industrial sites. Check the cleared permit, BRUC compliance and soil certificate before signing the deed of sale.
