The final reception produces several major legal effects that transform your relationship with the builder and determine your remedies for the next decade.

1. Immediate effects

Release of the remaining 50% of the Breyne Law security deposit, end of the warranty of perfect completion, full transfer of risks to the buyer.

2. Start of the ten-year liability

The 10 years of ten-year liability run from this date (or from the provisional reception depending on case law). Keep the minutes carefully.

3. Residual remedies

Hidden defects (Article 1641 of the Civil Code), two-year warranty for equipment, ten-year liability for solidity and watertightness.

Have your property audited before the deadline.
