For whom

A plumbing inspection tailored to four situations.

01

New-build owner

Leaks, drainage defects, insufficient pressure or failing hot water after reception. Ten-year or perfect-completion qualification and recourse preparation.

02

Renovation owner

Installation renovated by a plumber and causing trouble. Workmanship diagnosis, section check and independent technical arbitration.

03

Pre-purchase buyer

Aged or suspect plumbing during a viewing. Opinion to estimate renovation cost, negotiate the price or set a suspensive condition.

04

Owner in dispute

Disagreement with plumber after a defect or water damage. Drafting of an enforceable report, basis for amicable or judicial proceedings with insurer or contractor.

Five steps from survey to enforceable report.

Comprehensive audit methodology: visual check, pressure measurement, section and material verification, drainage check, flow test. Compared to NIT-CSTC and the current regulatory framework.

FAQ

Your questions about the plumbing inspection.

Does a leak after reception fall under ten-year liability?
Yes if it compromises the use of the property and appears within 10 years of reception. The expert report qualifying the workmanship defect is the centrepiece of the recourse, especially for embedded leaks that are costly to uncover.
What is the normal pressure of a domestic network?
Between 3 and 5 bar static. Above that, a pressure reducer is mandatory. Below 2 bar, comfort is insufficient. The cause may be undersizing, fouling or a hidden leak.
Are old lead pipes still legal?
Their presence is not illegal in existing housing, but is strongly discouraged because they release lead into drinking water. Replacement is mandatory for heavy renovations and strongly recommended on sale.
How to detect a hidden leak without breaking walls?
Via acoustic listening, nitrogen test or thermal camera. An embedded leak may cause an overconsumption of several m³/month. A diagnosis locates the zone without systematic demolition.
How much does a full plumbing redesign cost?
From €4,500 for a studio to €25,000 for a large house. Our report provides a precise quantified estimate per item, usable in insurance or before a court.
Are you independent from plumbers and manufacturers?
Strictly. We refuse any case where we have a commercial relationship with the contractor, manufacturer or opposing expert. Our mandate comes exclusively from the owner.

Leak, low pressure or doubt about the plumbing?

Failing plumbing damages the building quickly. Request a diagnosis — we come back to you during the day with an inspection slot.
